Can you believe it?

The Cubs traded Eric Patterson! I liked him ever since he was a Chief, but maybe he'll get more playing time in Oakland and really bust out in the majors. We did get Rich Harden and I've liked him since I had him on my fantasy baseball team quite awhile ago.

These are my wildflowers from the backyard. I never thought they'd get this tall and be so plentiful. It's fun to see what new color I have in the morning.
I broke my potato masher. How you ask? Well, I was mashing some bananas and hit the side of the bowl and it just bent. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Jenny can locate the one she packed away for a garage sale.
